Turn a talk into a book.

Talkintobook takes a podcast, interview, lecture, or any audio recording and writes it as a structured book. The ideas stay the speakers’. The writing expands them so a reader who never heard the episode can follow every point.

The problem

A conversation disappears. A book does not.

A two-hour podcast is usually a raw transcript nobody finishes, a clip that expires, or a stack of notes that never become a manuscript. The thinking was good. The form was not built to last.

Talkintobook is not a summarizer. We do not squeeze an episode into bullet points. We transcribe the talk, outline the themes that are already there, then write those themes as chapters — with the explanation a reader needs when they cannot rewind the audio.

The book is as long as the material. We do not invent stories, studies, or page counts to make it look thicker.

How it works

From a recording to a manuscript you can publish.

  1. 01

    Bring the recording

Paste a podcast or YouTube URL, or upload the audio you already have — MP3, M4A, WAV, and other common formats.

  2. 02

    We transcribe the talk

Speech becomes a clean transcript with speaker turns. Nothing is invented at this stage. We start from what was actually said.

  3. 03

We find the book inside it

The material is segmented and outlined into chapters. Genre can be detected or set — self-help, business, memoir, education, history, narrative, or fiction.

  4. 04

    We write it as prose

Each chapter is explained in full sentences. Spoken asides become readable argument. Length follows the source. We do not pad to a page count.

  5. 05

    You leave with a book

Download a print-ready PDF, an EPUB for Kindle and other readers, and an Amazon KDP pack with a 6×9 interior.

Audio we take

Built for podcasts. Open to any audio.

If you can play it, we can usually turn it into a book. The pipeline is designed around spoken material: hosts, guests, lectures, and long-form conversation.

Podcasts

Long episodes, interview shows, solo essays, season recaps.

Interviews

Founder conversations, oral history, expert Q&A, guest lectures.

Talks & courses

Keynotes, classroom sessions, workshops, conference recordings.

Any audio file

MP3, M4A, WAV, and video with a soundtrack. URL or upload.

Genres we write toward: Self-help · Business · Memoir · Educational · History · Narrative · Fiction. Leave it on auto-detect, or choose one.

Expand & explain

Spoken thought, written so it holds.

People do not talk in chapters. They circle, interrupt, and leave a principle half-named. Talkintobook keeps the facts and examples from the recording, then writes the connective tissue a book needs: a clear opening, a named idea, and an explanation that does not assume the reader heard the joke two minutes ago.

That is the expansion. It is not extra fiction. It is the same material, made readable — so a 90-minute interview can become a short, honest book, and a long series can become a longer one.

What you get

Files you can read, share, or upload to Amazon.

Print PDF

A 6×9 interior with chapters, title pages, and back matter. Ready to read or send to a printer.

EPUB

A reflowable ebook for Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo, and almost any reader.

Amazon KDP pack

Interior PDF, EPUB, and a short upload note so you can list a paperback and Kindle edition.

Manuscript + transcript

Markdown of the book and the cleaned transcript, so you can edit or archive the source.

Fidelity

The book has to be true to the talk.

Source only

No invented clients, studies, quotes, or biographies. If it was not said, it does not go in.

Speakers stay speakers

Host and guest are not merged. Attribution follows the transcript, not a convenient persona.

Length follows the audio

We do not write toward a 300-page target. A short talk makes a short book. A long one makes a longer book.

Who it is for

If the work already lives in your voice, this is the binding.

  • Podcast hosts who want a season they can hold.
  • Educators turning lectures into a course reader.
  • Founders who would rather ship a conversation than start a blank manuscript.
  • Coaches and authors sitting on interviews that should already be a book.
